Orbit Remote
O2osell Tech
Privacy Policy
Effective August 28, 2026
This policy explains how Orbit Remote handles information when it controls Android TV and Google TV devices over Wi-Fi.
Information handled by the app
Orbit Remote discovers and controls compatible Android TV and Google TV devices on the same Wi-Fi network. TV addresses, nicknames, pairing credentials, pairing codes, and remote commands stay on the phone or local network. O2osell Tech does not receive them on its servers.
Advertising and consent
The app uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. Google may collect and share an IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Consent choices are requested where required. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.
Security
Pairing and remote-control connections use encrypted transport. Information sent by Google's advertising SDK is encrypted in transit. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Retention and deletion
Saved TV details and pairing credentials remain on the device until the user forgets the TV, clears the app's data, or uninstalls the app. O2osell Tech does not keep a server copy. Google handles advertising data under its own retention and deletion practices.
Children
Orbit Remote is a general utility and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the app or its services change. The effective date shown here will be revised when that happens.
